and clean it. it seem like there is some sort of cut there...what do i do? i read somewhere else that neosporin might help...is this true?

Apply some general antiseptic cream for skin abrasion or minor cut to that area it should OK in a short period ( 2 to 3 days).

we had a rabbit that got all beat up, and we just cleaned it out with a bit of peroxide (rubbing alcohol I guess probably works well too) and then put a loose bandage on it (just a bit of guaze or a clean rag). we've also done the same for a cat.

investagate, how did that patch happen to get there but to be on the safe side take him to the vet for a check up

most rabbits moult do worry if the skin isn't irritated don't bother to take him to the vet

call a vet and ask so you don't do anything that would hurt it
