Ok, feeling depressed is bad but it is no reason to drop out, if you get out of your depression, ull still feel bad for droppin out of school, but what i do recommend doing is talking about it with someone. I would say a parent, or even a conseler at school if you truely need it. Depression can be devasting and if you can be helped to get out of it, then find out ways, but DO NOT not go to school.

I would suggest seeking professional help as soon as possible since it sounds like you have clinical depression. You need an evaluation. A doctor can assess your mental health and any issues that need to be addressed and act accordingly. I would go to your school's counselor and advise them of the problem you are having. Maybe there is some way you can make up the work if you need to take a break from school.
Ultimately you need to get help if you plan to succeed in school. Depression affects not only mood but motivation and the ability to achieve goals if it gets the best of you...
Good luck...

Going to school will probably be a welcome destraction, as apposed to staring at the same 4 walls all day with too much ime to think about things.
Talk to your parents about the issues you face, you never know they just might be able to help you more then you think.
Not going to school may start a pattern for you, and you would probably become more depressed from the outcome of being dropped by the school, loosing friends and the new issues you will face with your parents.
In situations like this you may benefit from talking to your friends first.
Good luck

I think you should go to school. Look for the good things that happen and build on them, make some new friends, renew old friendships. Enjoy your school life. See your school adviser and ask for help.

I go to school pretty sad a lot of times. It helps to have friends who can take your mind of things and show you some fun. They can also offer you social support. However, I would go to see a psychiatrist to see if that can help.
