Ever felt like no one knows your name or only comes to talk to you when there's nobody else to talk to? I work in an office where everyone else has a college degree. I don't. I'm an administrative assistant. A secretary. Have been for 16 years. Everyone else where I work has some sort of a degree. They form their little clicks and I never feel included. They only come around of course, when they need something. I'm 36 and would love to go to college but can't. My dad died when I was 18 so I went to work instead of college. Now, I have to work full time to pay my bills and to keep health insurance. If I go part time it would take 10 years and then I'd be 46 when I got through and don't know if I can jugle work and school. And I don't know if I would want to start another career at that age. .. anyway I just feel like I'm invisible. Everyone else has kids, I don't. Everyone else has their "careers" to talk about....even going to get masters degrees. Am I just over reacting?

What you have which others don't is freedom. As much as you might not think so because you see others doing things that are right for them. Bite the bullet, go to college, travel, the world is so big and we forget it because of our daily lives become routine. As for love, the moment we stop looking, it finds us.
You'll be ok because you're already asking the questions

Oh my God I know where you are coming from that is the way it is in my college you almost feel like that fly on the wall who sees everything but no one sees you. Its like everyone is so happy and have all these friends and since they already have there group of friends what reason do they need to pay attention to you. But you have to kind of know where they're coming from if your goal was to meet 2 good friends who you can hang out with and you find them your goal now is to further develop the friendship you already have with these people and because you are so focused on that it is hard to focus on anything else. Like when I am out with an aquantance everyone else is just background for whatever reason you notice them but then again you dont sort of like the trees and the buildings. I would suggest going to a place where you fit in like maybe be a manager of restaurant it is not that much of a high end job but it is not as bad as being a cashier or not as bad as a place where you are unhappy. Everyone in a restaurant is pretty much in the same position they dont have much education under their belt so they wont look down on you and you should probably fit in.

No, I've never felt like a nobody. I've always known I'm a creation of God, my life's got meaning, I've a purpose having been given birth and life, as God's given me work to do, in an honest effort to be a blessing to people and a vessel for God, and that there's reason I've been given life. I know God knows my name, as I know God'll never forget me; God'll always remember me.

I think you're over reacting.
