i have had this twitch on my cheek about an inch or so below my eye...how can i get rid of it? never had it before and it is bothersome. doesn't happen all the time but when it starts it is irritating.

it is not in the eye...rather right under the cheek bone...any thoughts?

I get that sometimes that is just your mucles...( I know it is not in your eye it is under your eye right where your cheek bone is at, that's what they call it "Eye Twitching" because, it is right under your eye) you can get them by Stress, Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva, Fatigue, Lack of sleep, Prolonged staring at a computer screen or television.

Hi HEY N!!!

This is very common, like spasms on legs or arms, they can also appear on your face.

The times that has happened to me, I just put pressure NOT to hard, just to the point where your are comfortable, for few seconds. if this persist, I suggest you to visit the doctor, as it could be the sign of something more serious.

As much as us YAHOO members would like to help, we still

as long as you don't have other symptoms i wouldn't worry. it's probably just a muscle twitch. if you get tingling and numbness then i would see a dr.

it sounds kind of ridiculous, but my friend got that and her mom would always tell us to eat salt... I dunno.
