I’m thinking about purchasing the AAMC’s Medical School Admission Requirements (MSAR) book, but I was wondering if this book also included any information on osteopathic medical schools as well.

If not, can you recommend any books that give similar comprehensive information about osteopathic schools?

Thanks in advance.

AAMC has been pretty lean when it comes to info about DO programs. HAve you looked at AACOMAS' website? http://www.aacomas.org

I have the Princeton Review book 'The 162 Best Medical Schools,' and it does provide a lot of info about Osteopathic schools. However, because there are a lot of DO programs coming up (Touro just opened campuses in Nevada and New York this year), you're going to have to keep refreshing your info (so to speak). There's just so much coming up in the field of Osteopathy.

take in complementary determination drugs and holistic treatment as component of your extracurricular interests. your MCAT does no longer have were given to be impressive -- the conventional MCAT of a DO student is truly decrease than a chairman student. yet you'll might want to get the carry of more effective proper integrative the way you're in a position to drugs like preventive med and health. seem at public health, too.
