I have CS: Condition Zero (uninstalled) which I haven't played for quite some time now. I'm thinking of reinstalling but is this version of CS is still popular (with a lot of populated servers)? Or has everyone moved over to Source already? Do you recommend moving over to Source? Or stick with the original? Is the original still supported by the developers and gaming community?

Duh! it still is! In fact to tell you, the last ver. of CS (CS v1.5) is still very popular. I have a feeling that CZ is still preferred as it is not as expensive as CS source and has better graphics than the original CS. There would still be servers to choose. people in other countries may not have even heard of CS source. Just continue with it.

I recommend using Source on Steam. There are over 3000 servers available usually, whereas CS1.6 has around 300, and is a bit of a ghost town at times.

There are a few jerks who have their own little clan, and boot you out if you don't do what they say.

Either way. I heard it was popular. And yes, try switching to source. I have the game on Steam but it wont work right. Everytime I log in to a server, my computer freezes right there.
