Me and my boyfriend have been having sex for about 3 months now. Im 16 and have only started my periods about 4 months ago. Im also diabetic. Im probably just freaking out but my period is 6 days late, but i have had no other symtoms of pregnancy. We keep telling our selves that i may just be irregular since i am new to my periods but then again we still have the thought of pregnancy in the back of our mind. We really need some advice! : )

Either stop having sex or at least use some protection like birth control pills AND condoms the last thing that you need at 16 is an STD and an even worse thing would be a baby at 17. Go to the Dr. and get some birth control if your old enough to make the decision to have sex then you should be responsible enough to do it safely.

Well if you are freaking out then that could be causing your period to be late - stress can affect your cycle. As to having regular sex together - i hope you are being careful and using protection? Use the pill and a condom if you must have sex.

For you own piece of mind go and get yourself a pregnancy test - just to set your mind at ease.

I am 16 also, and have sex with my boyfriend. I have had irregular periods since i have started so i am now on the pill to regulate them. If you usually have irregular periods then i doubt ur pregnant, but you should say whether ot not you used a condom and if your periods are normally regular. BEST OF LUCK!!

I would advise a test. That is the only way to know. If you are worried about it that can make you late too. You may just be irregular because of just starting but the only way to know for sure is a test. Good luck

Wait a week and take a test....not all women experience symptoms or pregnancy. With my first I was really sick and that is how I found out I was pregnant and with the one I am pregnant with now, I had not one single sign accept for no period.
By the way................if you are 16 and my prayers are that you are not pregnant.....I hope you learned your lesson! Go get some damn birth control and condoms...if you are old enough to have sex then you are old enough to go and talk to your ob/gyn about birth control!!!!!!!!

Start using some protection when having sex. Ask your mom to put you on birth control. Buy condoms. Abstain from sex.

All those answers will prevent you from becoming pregnant!!!

you're most likely just irregular, but it's possible you're pregnant. Are you using protection? If you're going to have sex, you have to be responsible.
