nope. quadrilateral means "four sides", parallelogram means "four sides, AND pairs of them are parallel".

all parallelograms are quadrilaterals but not the other way around.

This is not true. There are six different types of quadrilaterals: rectangles, squares, rhombuses, trapezoids, kites and the parallelogram.

nope, needs to have parallel sides to be a paralleogram. Can't think of an example of a quad that isnt also a parallelogram but there must be one out there (its one of those mathematical trick questions)
