No I don't believe it. I reckon SkySports News are making it up & the player himself was just having us on. Also, LA Galaxy are just winding the English up. All made up.

Real Madrid president says that no other side in European football wants him. LA Galaxy do. He has become too big for his boots at Madrid just like at Manchester. He will do well in the States. He is pretty and will do well with advertisers....it's nice that his hobby will become his main source of income, i mean the modelling of course. A shame cos he was a great, solid player for some time. Lost focus, dropped his game. But good luck to him...

He's pretty good at passing and setting people up with the ball, which it sort of like the thing you see quarterbacks doing with precision accuracy over long distances.
If it means the Americans are going to have a bit more interest (and ability) in 'soccer', the whole international scene will benefit.
Symbolically the event is a sort of socio-political olive branch.

Uhhh dude... like HELLO!!! Have you like just arrived from some other planet?! He signed with the L.A. Galaxy and he's gonna play! Cuz I don't think they'd just let him take the money and run away! Dude, use common sense--down on Earth!!! But you could call: 1-800-LA-GALAXY-- for if you still doubt it!

Yes Beckham is going to get a $1 million a week!

PS He is going to have to learn to call it SOCCER instead of FOOTBALL...still for that sort of money it's not too much of a problem.
