If it's truely a cube...find the cube root of the volume....

This will give you the side dimension.

Then use Side Length squared * Six.

Find the cube root of the volume. Square that number and multiply by 6.

CALL THE VOLUME V. THE SURFACE AREA OF THE CUBE IS 6 TIMES THE CUBED ROOT OF V. THIS IS BECAUSE THE DIMESION OF EACH SIDE OF A CUBE IS THE CUBED ROOT OF THE VOLUME. AND A CUBE HAS 6 SIDES.

volume is found like this
V=a^3
surface can br found like this
S=a^2*6

so S=(V^2/3)*6
