I've used the PS2 controller and I didn't like it at all because I was used to the Xbox controller. My friend said the PS2 controller works even better with than the Xbox one, which is total crap, but maybe I just wasn't use to the PS2 one enough. How do you guys out there like it?

Oh and also: a second ago I thought I had decided to get an Xbox 360 until I read these:

That's a lot of problems...With Gears of War being the 360's biggest game, how could they let something like that happen?

Is the problem really that big or is it only with a few people? Since I haven't bought one yet, will I be safe? And I definitely plan on buying Gears of War.

Would the PS3 maybe be better?

Anyone have an idea of when the 360 might get a web browser?

I'll appreciate any advice you can offer.

It's lightweight and feels cheap. But that shouldn't stop you from buying a PS3.

The XBOX 360's don't get screwed up any more, the older ones were really bugged out and broke. Mine is fine.

Also the games scratch because when people tilt and move the console around while the disk is spinning, the disk gets tilted and scratches against the casing of the drive.

And the web browser for the 360 will come sometime, a simple update from microsoft can add it anytime.

But why do you need a web browser , you posted using your computer, keep using it.

And the PS3's controller has no rumble and feels lighter and cheaper than the old PS2 controller, it feels like I could crush it just with my hands. Also the Six-axis is very weird to use on it, I would be loving the PS3 but I mean no rumble, thats not cool.

I got a ps3 for christmas and I absolutley love it. I bought Resistance which is amazing and Fight Night Round 3 which is great if you like fighting games. My roomate got got a 360 for christmas. He loves it as much as I love my ps3. I have played both and to tell you the truth I enjoy both. The sixaxis controller works great, however if you didn't like the ps2 controller then you won't like it because they are nearly identical in feel. And yes, the controller feels lighter, but I wouldn't say cheap. Now all in all it depends on what you are looking for, you will be happy with either decision. You will probably get more instant gratification with the 360 because most of ps3's games are weak right now, but that will change. The deciding factor for me was online play. If you enjoy playing online then the ps3 is the way to go. People complain about the cost of the system, however at $70 a year for xbox live, it quickly adds up to far more than the ps3. So all in all, it is up to you, you will always have people pulling one way or the other, personally I'm glad I bought a ps3, however I would probably have just as much fun with a 360.

there's no longer a manner of working a PS3 controller with a 360, till you alter the indoors mumbo jumbo. The PS3 has diverse buttons, giving each a purpose, those applications substitute in video games, however the regular circuit provides each button a command. inspite of the buttons taken care of out, there's a rely of shape, and the xbox stay dashboard/instruction manual button. (To my expertise) the PS3 controller would not have an added button different than for the R2, L2 and so on... so one in all those might maximum in all risk be functioned for the xbox button. in spite of if all of those particular needs are tended to, getting used to the 360's button instructions (which includes A, B, X, Y, back and so on...) could be tougher. Over all, it could be too confusing and time eating, once you need to purely circulate purchase a 360 controller (or get one with the xbox itself). 2d Q: It wuld count on what interest. :)

I borrowed my neighbor's xbox 360 for a week. Call of Duty 3 and Oblivion got scratches and smudges on the discs while I was playing. And there are always errors, it is a terrible system (plus he got it recently) I got the PS3 a couple weeks ago, Resistance is a great game, and I like how everything is set up. The SixAXIS is great, it is light and has a motion scensor and the analog sticks are higher up. Plus you charge it, you don't need batteries!

they are nice..very light..and of course wireless..forget the rumble!!! once you see the hd graphics..you will forget about it.. my suggestion to you if you don't already own one...WAIT!!! at least until later on in the year. else yours will end up like mine collecting DUST!! i own 3 games and haven't played the system in about 3 1/2 weeks....what a waste!! $600.00
