I think the most anxious I have ever been is when Tom Skerrit's character, I forget his name, goes into the air return ducts to try and flush the xenomorph out in "Alien." Man, that was intense! I was only 15 at the time, my brother posed as my guardian, and that scared the s*** out of me!

I liked the movie Freaks from either the 40s or 50s. It was a very strange movie that was banned for a while.

Dawn of the Dead by Geroge A. Romero: I love the part when Stephen gets attacked in the elevator by the Zombies. Also in the beginning when the millitary guys where invading an apartment complex and one of the occupants runs out and hugs her deadish family member and gets her sholder bitten off. That was pretty hype.

Alien, the scene where the guy goes into the cargo bay for the cat and is the first to bite it from the fully-grown alien.
Runner up is The Exorcist - all of it.

"Halloween" - Michael Meyers has chased Jamie Lee Curtis out of her house and she runs across the street to the neighbor's home. She bangs on the door as you see him walk the distance from her house to where she's at while she continues to bang on the door screaming to be let in.

The most disturbing one is The Ring, and the best made one is the Sixth Sense.
