There's a lot of different CDs out there that I have or have heard of, it can actually go on for a while.
To start with I'd have to recommend Eric Johnson's "Live in TX" CD. "Cliffs of Dover" is an absolutely amazing song along with lots of his other works like "SRV", "Desert Rose", and "Zap just to name some.
Next I'd have to say "Brothers in Arms" (remastered) by Dire Straits. They have some classics on there and the whole feel to it is just great.
Next would be Carlos Santana's "Shaman". Just like with all of his work it just has that surreal quality to it and a lot of hard work and dedication. If you ever get the chance to see him live I'd definitely get tickets (again in my case).
Lastly would have to be the Rolling Stones' "Flashpoint" CD. Sure, there's only 2 original works on it but their new versions of classic songs are just great. For example, in "Paint It Black" they substitute the sitar for Keith's old Strat and they just put it through some high distortion. All of the songs are really made new on that album since they perform their songs a bit differently than they're recorded in the studio.

Radiohead - The Bends is my favorite CD. I also enjoy Kid A. Thom York (Radiohead's lead singer) has a new CD out (Eraser) is amazing.
Ben Folds Five - Whatever and Ever. All of these songs are great. A good starter CD for Ben Folds Five
Real Big Fish - Turn Off The Radio. This is the only Real Big Fish CD that I know, but I really enjoy it.

i purchased a record participant about a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past in common words because there became music that i needed to have that wasn't reissued on CD. I had no expectancies for the sound high quality. although I heard human beings say that vinyl became more effective perfect, i did not take them too heavily. in reality, i assumed they were in basic terms being nostolgic. after I had my first take heed to a record, i became thoroughly shocked on the time-honored. The sound of a vinyl record somewhat is "hotter". The sound of a get up acoustic bass is more effective life like than digital. I felt like i might want to listen the empty area contained in the get up bass. Brushes on snares also large to take heed to on vinyl. It in basic terms sounds as if I have my ear bent right down to the snare, (interior an same position the microphone became even as the sound became recorded). My perfect sounding CD, by technique of a few distance, is the remastered Jeff Buckley grace album. The sound is truly crisp. the variety of highs and lows sounds more effective than my vinyls. Its a diverse type of sound. For me, I choose vinyl for albums with acoustic gadgets, and CD for electric powered device albums. regularly occurring, i love the sound of vinyl, because the sound is more effective life like. I were instructed that scientifically, the version is that a record has one continuous groove, the position as digital is many little bites of sound in succession. well-liked vinyls... James Newton- Romance and Revolution. Roy Eldridge- Dale's Wail (Verve information). Bob Moses- even as Elephants Dream of music. Eric Dophy- The Berlin live performance activities The resourceful structure organisation- quantity 2 FYI- Blue be conscious information nonetheless releases their new abums on vinyl (additionally they re-launch their classics on new vinyl). curiously, thier custonmers like the sound of information, although in the experience that they are recorded interior the digital age.
