I had a friend who was bein scouted by a local college by the time he was in 8th grade, they said he had potential n that they would keep a sparring eye on him. into high school is when they really start scouting players. if u got great talent u will get letters and recognition as early as 9th grade but for some the scouting doesnt start till 11th or 12th grade
