has anyone heard of axolotls its a type of tropical fish more like a lizard ..does anyone know any breeders in scotland or shop who sells them ?

Axolotl is a type of salamander (the Mexican salamander, Ambystoma mexicanum, it's an amphibian, like a frog) that usually stays in its larval form rather than metamorphosing into the adult form. They aren't lizards or fish.

You can buy them in Scotland, for £22-28. Apparently some garden centres sell them, including one in Ayrshire.

Pets at Home sell them for £12 each.

This is in England though so not sure whether you have one of these stores near you or not.

yeah i have 2. I live in Australia and all of our local pet stores sell them pretty cheap. sorry i cant help ya about scotland though.
