I'm having a debate with my brother-in-law. He says that there is no limit to how big your TV screen can legally be. I know that I have heard somewhere that you can legally only have your home theater a certain size. Anyone with a source gets the 10 points. Thank you.

There is no law against the size of your TV. I have a home theater in my house and we haven't got in trouble because the screen is 12 feet

No such thing. Your tv can be as big as you want. Hell, you can turn anywall in your home into a tv with a projector.
