Technology is like a flame on a gas stove; that flame is neutral. We, the humans, determine whether that flame makes life harder or easier; that same flame can cook our food to nourish our bodies, or it can badly burn our hand, but it is the same flame, neutral, it doesn't care. Technology is the same way, we, mankind, determine whether it will make life easier or harder, but it is the same technology, it is neutral.
