If you don't want a baby abstinence is better. Birth control is NOT 100% effective.

In all honesty abstinence. It is the only thing 100%. If you are OK with there being a chance then perhaps birth control and a condom. I wouldn't have sex without a condom. You never know men!! But I would save it until you are ready for the possibility of a baby. Good luck

well the only way to be 100% sure of not getting pregnant is abstinence but if you wanna have sex and know what you are doing and willing to take a little risk birth control is really effective but not 100%

Education is the best. There is a book written years ago it teaches you about your cycle length and mucus. Bit gross but after a football sized tumour and a loss of one ovary the pill can take a flying jump. The Book is called The Billings Method by Dr ? Billing a library search should do the trick however buy it keep it encourage every parent teacher teenager to read it once you understand different vaginal mucus's you can choose pregnancy or not it has even helped people who produce only one good egg here and there. I could go on for ever just find the book, there are coloured illestrations of mucus's and information on how why and when sperm can survive within them. Dont forget condoms if your in early stages.

Abstinence! Trust me, it is not all it's made up to be. If you are going to be active then DEFINITELY use some sort of birth control! I am a mother, and once you go down that road, there is no turning back! I wish I would've waited. But if you cannot, go to the doctor or a clinic. Safest sex is no sex.

Abstinence is the only 100% effective method of birth control.

But if you do not choose that option, then most definitely use birth control AND condoms- no excuses!

birth control is a pain in the a$$. You'll probably go the first 3 months w/o forgeting to take a pill and then when your sick and taking a bunch of other meds you forget to for 3 days and and have to buy a second pack and start all over again. Usually the first pill of the pack makes you sick and faint the next morning and doesn't go away until you force some food into yourself.
Did i mention its costly?
It all depends on you. there's other method of birth control of course.
I, howeve,r have no choice, i have to take the pill to keep my periods regular.
