I'm really sick and I've been missing alot of work and my hr manager called me and told me that i will need to be put on a leave of absense but I need to get paid.. I have bills and more bills.. how can i get paid?

you can go on tempoary disability they will pay you but not as much as you were making and they hold your job for 60days or 90 days if you are not back they hire somone else for your job and you get fired

If you have used up all your unused and accrued time off that the company allows, check to see if there is a short-term disability program through work or your state. (4 states offer a disability program) If neither of those options work then you are out of luck for getting paid for your time off.

Use your sick days, if you have any left, or holiday time, if you want to get paid. Otherwise, you are not going to get paid if you have a leave of absence.

I would get a copy of your regulation handbook you received when hired, or ask the HR Manager for a copy. That will specify exactly how this works for that specific company.

accumulate sick time and vacation time. short of that, apply for disability.
