if you meet someone at a party, and get into a conversation, is it possible for you two to become such good friends that you get each other's email address/phone numbers? at just one party and that's the first time you ever met?

Yes of course you will meet people every where you go. That is just a part of life meeting new people. Some you will hit it off with and some you want be able to stand after you really get to know them.

Ummm, yes this is how we are supposed to meet others. Social events is how people should meet, and exchange contact information. There is no law saying you have to follow up on the contact. It is great that you liked one another to consider yourself friends.

Yea, why not? Have you never met someone, that just seems easy to talk to and you have so much in common that it feels like you have known them forever? I have a few times so I can see that as possible.

We call it "hooking up" it's totally normal to get a girls/guys phone number if you hung out and were attracted as friends or more than that.
