I have a favorite movie in every genre. A favorite all time movie? Now, that would be difficult to decide if not impossible.
I like best in any genre, best special effects, incredible cinematography, mainstream stuff etc... I don't even have to name them, you can just imagine what they would be. I like cult classics too. I had never heard of boondock saints until this question. It sounds like a cool film though.
I agree with Joe who said earlier:
Shawshank Redemption, Count of Monte Cristo, Cast Away... Movies that start crappy and at the end show that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
