Tim Allen happened to him. JTT left Home Improvement to go to college and did a few movies in the meantime. Tim Allen got mad about this and was all like I thought you were going to go to college not make movies so he got him thrown off the show. Since then poor JTT has gone poof.

Gosh I use to worship that boy when I was growing up! I haven't the slightest clue what happened to him... but I'd sure like to know! Maybe imdb.com will tell you something?
