This might be a stupid question...but....
okay. many adults told me my period is comming soon......they told me to buy pantiliners and use one each day so that it might not leak in class and i wont get embarrased, etc.etc...the prob is that i dont really have a feeling my period is comming soon...but i have a feeling my period is comming alot later than people thinks.... what if my period DOES comes alot later than people think? wouldnt it be a waste of pantiliners?

-silly question...but i've been wondering.. =/

better safe than sorry. think about you, would you rather waste some pantiliners or have blood on your pants when you stand up in class?

Well, the truth is that nobody knows when it is going to come. How old was your mom when she started hers? Do you have a sister....how old was she when she started hers? If you know when they started then that's probably around the same time you can expect yours. It can be embarassing to start in the middle of school so maybe you might just want to carry around pads or pantiliners in your backpack just in case you do start soon. It can't hurt to be prepared!

You can sometimes tell when your gonna start. I would say to get the pantiliners and if you start to get pains in your abdomin and sore breasts then start wearing them. If you dont feel like crap then dont. For me my periods start really light like spotting so i usually have time to put something on before it leaks. If you are worried about it then pay attention to your body and if you feel like you might start then put one on. Even if you dont start, you'll at least be prepared. If you go to school put some in your locker and then you'll have them just in case.

better safe than sorry...when i got my first period i went through the extremly embarassing process of standing up in class with white pants on. everyone laughed at me, and the teacher had to pull me to the side and tell me to go to the nurse.

you may feel more comfortable with rolled up toliet paper

and most people cannot tell when it is coming...i was surprised and didnt expect it

No waste. Always be prepared because it might just jump up on you when you're least expecting it.
