(Unless you are wearing a corset at night, I think yahoo put your question in the wrong category.)

That said, you could have a number of problems. It all depends on what you have along with it and what you mean by trouble breathing. I agree with everyone who says you should see a doctor.

Here's some general ideas.

First, is you nose stuffed up and head congested? then you probably have some nasal congestion. Easily treated with a variety of medication. A humidifier might help.

However, do you wake up feeling like you can't breath? Do you sometimes feel like you have to open a window to get air? Do you feel like you can't breath when you lay down flat? Do your feet swell? Then you might have congestive heart failure and you need to see a doctor.

Do you have a history of asthma, allergies, or smoking? Then you might have some COPD like asthma, bronchitis or emphysema.

I know some people mentioned sleep apnea, but most people with sleep apnea, don't know it.Their partners say they snore and they complain of being tired all the time. They don't don't have shortness of breath.

Go see your doctor. You could actually stop breathing and need a machine to help you breath.

You may want to elevate the head of your bed 6-8 inches. Don't use anything flimsy, use solid wood or something strong and wide. Also, moving air makes dust. You may be sleeping too close to a heater vent.

Deviated septum or being overweight are usually the culprits. Try Breath Right Strips or if you are overweight see a physician.
