Sounds like a fear of seafood to me, or anything with eyes that appear to be looking at you or can possibly hurt you when alive. (even if they ARE dead while being eaten.)

It's called Ostraconophobia (see link).

You people are nuts. Would you rather get off work and slave in the kitchen for an hour cooking food at your house that could be contaminated also? Dang, just spend some money and grab a somewhat heathly meal at one of the fast food places. For example: a Jr. Bacon cheeseburger and a caesar side salad at Wendy's. What it costs you: $2.xx with tax. How long it took to make: 5 minutes or less How healthy: probably just as healthy as you piling _________ and _________ on a plate at home (you fill in the blanks)

Yes, I know of someone who goes into panic attacks and cring fits and actually throws up after looking at anything from the ocean cooked or people eating.

Its just a fear of fish I guess.

Either that are they just like the attention they get from freaking out

No, I am not afraid of my food, but I wouldn't eat octopus either. Although, it doesn't matter if someone else does.
I have never heard of this exact thing before. I don't know what it is called.

Maybe its because both of those foods are kinda creepy looking.
It doesn't seem so strange when you think of it that way. I could not watch someone eat things like bugs, larvae, or worms.
If she started being afraid of mashed potatoes and carrot sticks, that would be something else.

it's not a phobia, it looks like it could move and she dont like the thought of food moving. plain and simple. THink how you might feel as a little kid if your macaroni and cheese had eyes looking right at you...that is a different situation but that feeling is the same one she gets...hope that helps you to relate.

It could be Cacophobia- the fear for ugliness... just jk. It's not that serious to be considered a phobia.

I think that person might freak out if she encounter these:
