Not including folk who are learning the language, do not speak the language well, have a limited education, etcetra. I am not picking on folk who are trying or on folk who are new here (legally or otherwise).

I'm speaking of people like our president (It's NU-CLE-AR, not NUKULAR). Yeah, I know that they have added a spelling like this to the dictionary so that the pres does not appear stupid. Yikes!

I'm speaking of folk with a basic education. It's 'Go ask you Mom' not 'Go axe your Moma'! It's not that difficult people!

Yeah, I know that one too! Totally ruined a very nice song a few years ago.

Not asking for perfection, just try! There are spell checkers available. I am not a racist. Heck, why do you think Obama stands such a very good chance to make it to the White House?

This is a difficult question for me. I was raised by a father who would not tolerate the slightest grammatical error. And he required precise diction. The advantage that gave me was an tremendously advanced skill at reading and writing. Grammar was a natural language for me and I excelled at all language related tasks.
