Birth control pills don't make your period late. BCP's work by "tricking" your body into thinking you are pregnant so you don't ovulate. If you are taking the pills when you would normally be having a period, you will not have a period. If you take a different color pill and don't have a period, see your doctor. Immediately.

Any kind of birth control will do that because birth control messes with your hormones.
