Ima keep it short. Last saturday, i lost my debit card around 8:00 pm. On sunday, I called at 5 pm to cancel it and send me another one. My dad doesn't know and it has HIS name on it. I won't be in truble if I go to the mail first. But do u think somebody might have picked it up and use it?! I went to Walmart- not many crackheads around there. What do u guys think?

Call your debit card company and ask for another. I'm sure they'll give you another if you remember the PIN.

I think, judging on the modern world, somebody may have picked it up, and maybe used it. Hopefully somebody turned it in, but either way, you need to tell your Dad about it. He'll probably get all fired up, which I know you are trying to avoid, but it would be best to let him know the truth lest he get totally AWOL later. Yes, your account should be okay now that you've cancelled it, but say he gets to the mail first. Just let him know calmly, and he should understand. Hint: tell him when he's in a good mood :P.

I totally think you should get your dad involved. He is more experienced with this type of thing. Yes, he may be upset a little, but just think what will happen if someone actually uses that card... I wouldn't take any chances! Seriously, Get your dad involved and report it missing/stolen before something bad happens.

you have to tell ur dad. it's very important buisness because it can go as far as effecting his life savings. and if someone is using it as a fraud, and gets away, your dad might be charged with some kind of punishment. It will be even more difficult at that point trying to get a new credit card. he might seem mad at you at that very moment, but he will be glad that you were honest about your mistake.

Most Crack Head do hang out at Walmart.... I think it was used... You should have had the damn thing de-activated...... I was probably used at a gas station... so they could pay a the pump...etc.... Good luck...by the way... Imma tell your dad what happend.
