I think many times historically and scary and sadly even today many racists use the Bible somehow to support their racist views...historically so-called Christian beliefs have been used to exploit another people and practice racism (e.g., the Eurpeans who invaded the Natives) and so on, but the truth is, the Bible doesn't really talk about race and sticking with one's own race...I think if there is a God, then he or she intended the races to interrcially date, because it's about the heart and the individuality. There is nothing "sinful" about falling in love with a person from another "race", and whoever thinks that is incredibly lost and narrow-minded.

I asked a guy this same question once, when he was ranting about a mutual friend of ours being engaged to a Mexican. He didn't have an answer, just told me someone else had shown him the passage, so I looked it up. According to the essay I found, which I couldn't find a link to just now, but I'll look again when I'm more awake, the Bible is against mixing RELIGIONS, not races.

Anyway, if I'm remembering a certain part of Moses' story correctly, his sister Miriam was punished by God for speaking against Moses' interracial marriage.

It was only in the old testament where Jews were not allowed to race mix but that's the only place I've seen it.

Hey I agree with you and I'm not a lady:(

Israel was not to mix with the peoples of Cannan.....but that was to prevent idoitry influence. God did create all races and Jesus came to save us all. Mixing races is not a Bible issue....being unequally yoked is.

Its all good

Moses married a Ethopian. God made all races, why would he be against different races marrying each other?
