my hamster is kinda old and it is sik he wont open his left eye and i love him please help me

A large breed hamster such as a fancy, teddy bear, black bear dalmation ect. will live 3-5 years. A dwarf breed will live 2-3 years. As for the eye, have a vet check it out. In the mean time you can wipe the eye with a warm water moisted cotton ball, be gentle. If your hamster is within these ages he may lose some weight or want to sleep a lot more. They do get a sudden burst of energy shortly before their time comes.

Well if you take good care of them this includes vet check, cleaning of their cage, Etc then they could live up to 4 years.
