Lets put it this way, man/woman or maybe a member of society.

The definition of attitude - a complex mental orientation involving beliefs and feelings and values and dispositions to act in certain ways.

Types of attitude takes in a lot of adjectives and four letter words, like love, hate, feel, good, kind, care, etc.

To make it simple, lets just say attitude can be either good or bad and maybe a little bit of both.

A good mental attitude, trustworthiness, kindness and caring are the characteristic's I look for in a persons attitude.

I feel if a person has those attributes they will contribute to society and in turn will find the quality of life they aspire to.

Yes I do. It's the 1/2 empty, 1/2 full glass again.

I have found that out of every positive there's a negative, and out of every negative there's a positive. They are not necessarily equal. But if I can uncover those mitigating factors, then my life would be in better balance and I would be able to withstand the difficulties of life and weather the storms, plus keep my balance during good times.

Peace.

Absolutely. In fact more than just a large extent. Pretty much 100%!!

I come to this conclusion because I see both happy and miserable people reacting in two different ways to the same situations. Those who are happy or miserable are this way despite what life throws at them, not because of it.

Attitude certainly has much to do with the quality of one's life. Research in cognitive science indicates that changing the way one thinks can result in changed circumstances.

NO. It's certainly a factor, however physical/mental tools(genetics),geography and socio-economic factors are among a group of ingredients with more influence on shaping character ,which in turn shape personality aspects such as attitude.

I've once heard a quote that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how one reacts to it. One can't always choose what happens to themselves directly, but they can choose how they react to it. Although I do find that subconsciously we create our own luck with our default patterns of behavior and mannerisms. If you choose to find hope, positivity, and promise in all that comes across your path, you're going to be destined a lot differently than someone who sees the opposite when approached with the same.

Absolutely, while you cannot control your circumstances, you can control your reaction to them...look for the good...see good everywhere, look for the bad...see bad all around.

If you take on a victim mentality you deny your own power to change your life.
