My gpa went down when I joined this college; I need to change colleges or find out what is a grade replacement?

Grade replacement means that you can retake the course, and if you earn a higher grade you can have the lower grade not count in your GPA. But generally, the lower grade will still appear on your transcript.

Different colleges have different rules for grade replacement, so you need to check the ones at your college.

Grade replacement is where you retake the class typically at your school(Check your student handbook or registrars office) and whatever grade you get the second time will be the grade you receive.
