I just got my new laptop today and tried to install itunes. Everytime i do install it it will come up to the install or dont install option box..i press install button and it says that itunessetup is not a vlaid windows file or something like that..how can i install itunes???

You need to go to itunes and download the correct program. It sounds like you accidently downloaded the itunes for Mac and not Windows.

It sounds like you may have downloaded the wrong iTunes.

At the Apple web site, it defaults to the Mac OS X version and you need to be sure that you check the Windows box so that you will download the Windows version of iTunes instead of the Macintosh version for your computer.
If you are accessing iTunes from your iPod's CD, you need to look for the Windows version of the iTunes software. Best of luck to you.

Go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and download it to your laptop. Save the file on your desktop. Once it has finished downloading you'll see a file iTunesSetup.exe on your desktop. Double click this and follow the instructions.
