Handball goalkeeper's should not wear masks like hokey goalies. The reason is that hockey puck can kill you if it hits you in the head due to the material its made of, on the other hand, Handball balls are very light and can not travel as fast as a hockey puck. Soccer goalies don't wear masks and the ball travels faster than a handball.
Also if someone wanted to intentionally hit someone with a handball in the face nothing much will happen maybe a bruise and a bloody nosy maybe. But if someone where to intentionally hit someone with a puck without a mask it would cause serious fatal damage and most likely death. Thank you for your time.

No. Indeed a ball shot by an intermediary or winger can come at a 200 kmph speed, but this kind of accidents in handball is very seldom, indeed I have never heard of serious goalie injuries of such kind. Usually those who throw hard are those who work hard to improve their throw and, as such, improve their accuracy as well, knowing that they should aim at the goal and not at the goalie's face. A hockey puck is far more difficult to control.

No, because they do not need it.If someone throws a ball on the goal-kepper he will not hurt him as well as with a pak. I know, I train handball.

No the risk of injury is not high enough. Were not talking about a hard object like a puck or baseball.

it's simple! it was the standard regulation by the associate and if the goalkeeper's wear mask it should be better as it is for safety!
