Cancers natural concern for other people may somehow lead Scorpio to think that they are using Cancers good nature and disposition, secretly these thoughts will come from a touch of jealousy of Cancers interest in someone besides him/her. Hey. I'm a scorpio female and I've been with a cancer for Ten years. From a personal point of view, it's the most succesful relationship I've had.
Yeah, all that about brooding and snapping is right. But, as a scorpio woman, you know that sometimes you just want to blow off some steam and scream (I don't know any other sign that feels the need to just fight it out for the heck of it once in a while). And a cancer man knows when to come back and make things better.
You do have to get used to that brooding nature... I mean, when my guy gets mad, he closes up like a clam and it drives me nuts. But, luckily, as a scorpio, I have patience to spare... and if I just wait longer than him, he'll come clean about what the prob is.
Sometimes the differences make you wonder if it really is a good match... but in the long run, it's the best possible. I mean, if you're a classic hot-blooded, underhanded (in a GOOD way, I tell you), emotionally charged scorpio, cancer is the guy to fight with, love with, and share a good secret with... He'll never let you down.

They are a fine match, depending on the types of Cancer and Scorpio they are. A gray lizard or typical type of Scorp may be too outspoken and harsh for a Cancer male. But, he would be hard pressed to find another sign who would be as devoted, loyal, loving or passionate as her. As long as he is able to be objective in his relationship with her, and not fall into a funk each time she says something cross to him, they should do well.

If they can get past the obvious problems of cancers wild moodswings and scorpios tendancies to withdraw if hurt (IE scorpo girl yells at cancer guy for leaving the toliet seat up, cancer guy gets hurt by it, then broods on it until he's so mad he can't stand it, how dare she yell at him for leaving the toliet seat up! its not like i do it all the time omg!!! then comes the big fight, where both are way too stubborn to back down, and finally scorpio withdraws to lick their wounds and snaps at cancer if cancer, realizing he's messed up, and is in a new mood, comes back to apologize.
Personally i think they're a bad mix. but, if they learn to handle each other, they can work out.
