Goldfish lay eggs, they do not give birth to live fish. So either you don't have a goldfish or another fish that is in the tank gave birth. Either way most fish will eat or at least try to eat anything that can fit in their mouth so if you want to keep the babies then yes you should remove them.

Most fish will EAT their young. If I were you I would separate the adult and the babies. In my experience, a female guppy will gobble up the tiny ones. Same with swordtails. If they can eat on their own, then they are OK. What you might want to do is to put plenty of plants in with the fish so that the tinies have a place to hide should the mom turn aggressive.
Be sure to not overfeed goldfish. They will eat all you feed them, but then they will just poop it all out in long tails. You'll find yourself changing the water and cleaning your tank very frequently.

First off find out what kind of fish you have. Goldfish do not give birth to live young, they lay eggs. But any way it goes, PLEASE separate the mom fish from the babies. She will eat them. So will any other fish in the thank that is larger. Give them a lot of seaweed to hide in if you can't put them in another tank.

try first calling the pet shop where you bought the goldfish. sometimes the mom or dad fish will eat the babies, i think i would seperate the babies from the mom.
take the flake food and rub it between your fingers , before dropping it in the tank. it makes it the right size for tthe babies . check the pet shop for baby fish food next.

Seperate them soon. Mom might eat them.
Then get them some fine ground fish food.
You could also put a bunch of plants in the tank for them to hide in so Mom doesn't eat them. And feel Mom a lot.

relies upon on how vast your tank is, and what variety of hiding places you have for them... I used to cut up out all of my fry (infant fish) from the adults, yet after a mutually as there have been too a lot of them, so i ended. specific, the countless toddlers have been given eaten, yet I made specific there have been sufficient hiding places (stay flowers, vast gravel, different rocks, and so on.) the place the toddlers ought to conceal, and a few from each batch consistently survived. And in the previous I knew it I had a inhabitants explosion in my tank!!! This began as a turtle-tank, with some elementary guppies in it for turtle food. The turtle wasn't fairly involved in eating them, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, so they grew to alter into tank-friends. The turtle, which exchange into meant to be an omnivore, additionally grew to become up his nostril on the shrimp and snails i attempted to feed him, so the tank had fairly a style of chuffed critters in it...

Some fish eat there young. I would say remove them and put them in there own tank. Babies and momies in the fish world do not bond like mamals.
