Getting beat up wouldn't necessarily cause it but the stress and worry that has been put upon you would.

Yes because it has stressed your system out ,who has hit you ?you must not allow this to happen again,either report it ,or confront the person concerned,get some help if you can ,if a man has hit you thats far worse ,do not let yourself suffer emotional and physical abuse.Tell your parents or ! Any type of stress can cause any type of disruption to your usual body functions, including your cycle.

But if you've been hit or beaten to this extent, did you at least see a doctor? Answer their questions honestly, including who did this and why, and listen to everything that you are told.
