Area and volume of what?

Area of a rectangle = L x W (length times width)
Volume of a box = L x W x H (length times width times height)

If you want the area of a triangle or circle, that's a different formula. Or the volume of a sphere, cone, cylinder, etc.

There is no formula for finding area and volume at the same time. But I think you mean surface area. Surface area is the space that a solid shape's surfaces.

Since you are asking for area and volume you must be talking about a solid.
CUBE
V= s^3 and A = 6s^2, where s = length of a side
RECTANGULAR PRISM
V=l*w*h and A= 2(lw +lh + wh) where:
l = length, w = width, and h = height
CONE
V=Bh/3 where B = pi*r^2, r = radius of base, and h= height
S = pi*r*l + pi*r^2 = pi*r(l+r) where l = slant height
SPHERE
V= (4/3)* pi*r^3, A = 4*pi*r^2

That should hold you for a while.
