Totally Johnny Depp! He is a way better actor and I love the way he plays so many strange parts. He is very convincing and one of my acting idols. I hope to be as good as him some day.

Johnny Depp has way more talent and a wide range of things he's prepared to do.
This makes him - overall - a much better actor in my book. I think that Mr Pitt's latest outing (??) is an attempt to show that he really can act, honestly, look - I'm not even that pretty in this film....
but it is too little too late.
I enjoyed 'Meet Joe Black' but that sense of 'woodenness' kinda worked for playing 'Death' - unused to a human body. Problem is he does it in almost every movie he's in! He gave away the 'unique twist' to Fight Club - for me - after he'd been on screen about 4 minutes.

Johnny Depp, by far. Plus, he has morals... Brad Pitt does not. Even though neither are married, Johnny Depp isn't a man ho and dosen't flaunt. And plus, Johnny Depps partner isn't a weird gothic ugly freaky freak.

Hands down, Johnny Depp! He becomes a completely different person each role he takes on. Brad Pitt... sorry, there's no comparison there.

Definitely Johnny Depp. Only a truly great actor can totally transform himself into so many different roles the way he can. I think it's amazing that he never looks the same from movie to movie.

Johnny Depp without a shadow of a doubt, look at the huge range of characters he's played over the years.
Brad just plays young good looking guys, not much acting required in my opinion
