I always hear some Dominicans saying bad things about Haitians.This is so stupid because if it wasn't for the Haitians,they would have been under Spain's iron fist for much longer. And there is that BIG misconception about voodoo.Hollywood has a lot to do with that.

I know many Haitians in Orlando who assume every black person is from Haiti...they speak creole or some other language and if you don't respond they curse at you! They need to know there's more than just Haitian black people living here!!!!

People all over the world say bad things about all kinds of people..............Maybe they don't like the gum they chew....Maybe a haitian person started a fire somewhere and the person who heard about it does not like them anymore........Because they generalize.....Nothing better to do....Rather focus on others then improve themselves.....If you know someone personally why don't you ask them or look around on the net

That would probably be the Dominicans, who have a distorted perspective and don't see that they're only slightly lighter than their neighbors.
It's funny though --- Dominicans immigrants in the U.S. expect to be treated nicely by Americans, yet in their country, they treat Haitian immigrants like crap. Hypocrites.
