so im turning 21 soon and i'm looking for a good restaurant and brewery in the los angeles area. something similar to BJ's is what im looking for, something with great beer and good food. any suggestions?

The Yard House in Long Beach, House Of Brews in Huntington Beach and Karl Strauss Brewery Garden at Universal City Walk are all outstanding.

Yard House is always good, but they are located in Long Beach and Pasadena.
There is a cool brewery in downtown LA, called Weiland Brewery. It's not a chain, so it's smaller and a litte grungier than BJs. But they've got good food and good beer on tap. It's a small place, but has a great atmosphere on friday and saturday nights.
