Simple and thought ful is always key. A home cooked dinner of spagetti (maranara or alfreto), chicken and salad. If you can't cook spagetti is the best because you boil it in water and can cost as little as fifty cents, sauce in a jar is about two or three dollars, you can have pre-cooked chicken and just heat it in the microwave and per packaged salad is like three dollars. It put in extra effort cut the chicken into heart shapes and fold the napkins into fancy shapes (websites included). Have some long stem candles which can also cost like a dollar and hopefully you have nice wine glasses. If there is any money left you can find all kinds of wines in a grocery store or an ABC liquor that can be as cheap as seven dollars. If you are underage just find some sparkling grape juice.

Option two rent like three movies she likes, pop some popcorn and have an evening in on the couch. No cell phones, no phones, no computers, just you, her, the couch and a blanket.

Option three is a night picnic on the beach if there is one near you. If not a picnic by some water with the above menu or some sandwiches and a great desert from a bakery.

A simple piece of jewelery (example a necklace chain and charm) or some of her favorite chocolate or candy is good as a gift. If you want to dazzle buy chocolate chip cookie dough and either cut into cookies or roll out into a big cookie and spell BE MINE or I LOVE YOU, what ever feels right.

Ok...aside from the moonlit/candlelit dinners that everyone seems to be recommending you do, perhaps you would like to add a small gift to the glowing table! Again, all these gals are right even if it does sound cliched or chessy, all we girls want is to feel like a million bucks on V-day, not for you to spend that :) So, having said that, if you're looking to spend a little and give a lot, then here are some ideas:
1. Create a poem for her focused on some part/aspect of her & how much you love that one thing, get a frame and decorate the frame with things that you talked about in your poem (total cost $5-7...go to walmart or rosses for a cheap frame & michael's craft store for the paper)
2. Make a scavenger hunt for her...type up some cute rhyming clues leading her around your house/appartment until she gets to the grand prize...dinner or your gift or both! (Total cost....$0)
3. Create an awesome desert! This is the most sensual portion of a meal, so make it a good one! Go to foodnetwork.com. There is an awesome idea for roasted strawberries....you take your strawberry, cut the top off, hollow out the inside, fill with your fav type of chocolate & cook in muffin tins for about 12 minutes...berry chocolately perfection! This would go great w/ champagne. (Total cost....$5-10)
4. Give her a cute change purse filled with pretend money that she can use to "buy" things from you....back rub, hand/foot massage, dinner out, a car wash, etc....(Total cost....$4-10)
TADA...you've got a million dollar V-day on a dime budget!!! Good luck.

Start the day with a nice card on her pillow, and a hot cup of coffee if she drinks it. Then phone her during the day to let her know you are thinking of her. Tell her you cannot wait until the evening.
Cook dinner, it does not have to be big or fantastic, light candles. Use the best dishes. Music in background.
Afterwards, offer to fix her a hot bubble bath....transfer the candles to bathroom..rub her shoulders while telling her you are proud of how hard she works.
Contact a local florist and ask if you can have their cast off rose petals....spread them over the bed, light the candles, open something good to drink....and let nature take its course.
DO NOT turn on a TV by any means!

All a woman wants for Valentine's Day is to FEEL special. The big expensive gifts really don't matter, unless they are a gold digger. If she really cares about you, a simple dinner at home that you made and maybe a rose is all she really needs. Just make sure that every second you are around her, you make her feel like the center of your universe. She will relish in all the attention, and thats what Valentine's Day is all about, oh and don't forget, if yall do have "relations" that night, make sure you spend a LOT of time pleasing her, and not worry so much about yourself.

Figure out a romantic menu. Go to the dollar store buy candles, holders and some helium balloon. Make a romantic dinner lead her into your place blindfolded to find a beautiful table set, with napkins wine glasses and some romantic music.
She will be so blown away that you went to that much trouble to make her a beautiful valentines day that she will be overwhelmed with feelings. I know because I have had this done for me. It still brings tears to my eyes as the thoughfulness behind this gesture.

Get some music, a few candles and a picnic basket. Tell her to dress nice. Then take her dancing on the roof of your building or in a parking lot or park. It will be unexpected. Prep the area before hand!

if she really cares for you she'll be content with what you can afford... But go to wal-mart and get a card then head to the grocery store pick up some chocolates and watch a nice movie in the privacy of your house and have a nice dinner in

The most romantic date my boyfriend has ever taken me on was just dinner at his place. He made me a nice dinner (cost appx. 15 or 20 bucks) lit his apartments with candles ($stores across the country) maybe a bottle of wine (you can get a pretty ok bottle for $15 at the grocery store. Ask for someones help with that one). Then depending on where you live maybe a nice walk on the beach or a night gazing at the stars.

It really doesn't take money to make a girl happy. My boyfriend has taken me on crazy expensive dinners, and has made them for me at home and I am just as happy at home, and I love him not matter how much he spends on me.
