This is a plea for HELP around 4 months ago a Email address was setup by an employee who is no longer with us. I can provide proof of company Can you help us Please?

What do you mean? they are still using the address for your company? Do you want to trace e mails sent while they were there please be more specific.

I assume you mean you want to change your eMail system settings and the former employee was your System Administrator and has walked off with the passwords ... (professional people don't usually do this - how did you piss him off ?)

First you have made a huge mistake to let a System Admin. go without DEMANDING that they reveal ALL Company information - and then changing ALL the passwords as soon as they were out the door.

Right now he could be selling your passwords to some SPAM merchant who could then HIJACK your server ...

To get out this hole you need to appoint a System Admin. A temporary solution would be to employ a Contractor (that's going to COST - and how you going to get rid of them ???). Final alternative is to grovel to your previous Sys Admin and beg them to make the required changes ...
