it seems we've lost the battle
but can we win it any way
i know the truth lies within a heart
but the sun sees a stormier day
a glimps of reality
it's an opening of the eye
we fight to win back strength
but we lose it as we try
caught in a world of nowhere
holding onto empty dreams
for if there lies an answer
where life isn't what it seems
although we may not win this battle
and may lose it more and more
please give us strength to at least be strong
and let us win this war
