I have had both my nose and belly pierced, and comparing the two my nose hurt way more than my belly, which hurt, but not as much as I was expecting it to. The worst of the pain is over in a few seconds just while they put then needle through and put the jewelery in and then it's just a dull ache. Unfortunately, my belly piercing grew out after a year and a half, which can happen to some people.

Enjoy your cruise!!

It actually depends on the way your own body works. Are u a fast healer? If yes then I say go for it but theres still a chance of it getting infected This happens a loyt with belly piercings, I got mine pierced and I never healed in almost ay ear. It got infected and yes it was extremely painful with throbbing pain. Once I took it out I was ok, but I wouldnt recommend u doing this at all. Your body is nice the way it is. I actually regret it cuz Im left with an ugly bump where the hole was and a scar.

YES, belly rings are sexy! I've had mine for about 7 yrs now. It doesnt really hurt a lot, I think ear piercing hurts more, and I've had my ears pirced like 5 times and my belly 3 different times. Just make sure you really take care of it, and if you're going to get it....get it now so it's all healed up and all, and you can go in the pool :D

Belly rings can get infected very easily, and the only bathing suits you can wear with it in are bikinis
and yes, as always, punching a hole in your skin will hurt at least a little bit

I got my belly button peirced and at first it was the best thing in the world all the boys were like =o and all my friends were jealous but then it started to get infected and it really really hurt sometimes I couldn't go to sleep at night and it was all red and it looked discusting!!!!!! So I decided to take it out but while taking it out it ripped my skin so now it is all cut up so I suggest you don't get your's done!

Can not stand them. Nothing messes up a great tan stomach like a belly button ring.

not too bad. i've had mine pierced twice. the first time it was great.. stopped hurting after about a week. the second time, which was about 6 months ago, i'd gained some weight, so my "rolls" kinda squished it and made it a breeding ground for bacteria and it got infected so i took it out. once i loose more weight i plan on getting it back. put it this way.. it hurts less than an ear piercing and more than a tongue piercing. good luck!

No, it doesn't & for what it's worth, I grew out of it!
I hope you have a safe & healthy cruise!
-oops, I forgot, the part that does hurt is after! When it's starting to heal, you'll feel discomfort & awareness of your tummy skin (sitting down, getting up) like you haven't before!

in case you play any type of activities, i do not advise getting one. I actually have pals who've had reports the position the hoop has virtually ripped out thoroughly. If the above doesn't persist with to you, imagine the entire ingredient by. imagine about in case you'll nonetheless like having your abdomen button pierced 10, 20, or 30 years from now.

I have watched two friends get it done, and they didn't even flinch. They were just nervous. A few days after it was really sore, but thats about it. They just wore shorter t shirts so that it didn't touch that area. Do it at least 2 weeks in advance, my advice. So that it looks natural when you go! Have fun.
