do you sometimes feel that you are constantly disappointed in other people or yourself? i feel like i can't have high expectations for anyone or anything anymore, because i'll just be disappointed. i'm not depressed or anything, just wondering if others sometimes have days when they're really down and feel like this.

It's quite normal to have good and bad days. Such as "bad hair days." Or you "wake up on the wrong side of the bed."Or did you ever hear the phrase, "the time of the month" for women undergoing their menstruation periods and the moods that go with it.

The main reason is because life is not constant. Life is full of hills and valleys, mountains and plains. To feel '"uppity "one day and depressed the next is quite normal. One can't be on an even keel all the time. After all we are all mere human beings. Flesh and blood.

You should always strive to be at your best. However, remember, stress and serotonins and norepinephrines, the "chemicals" put out during stress and "down" days can literally eat you up. Moreover, stress is the causative factor for all diseases. Besides, it causes a lot of havoc to your psyche and body in the long run. Your face will appreciate you for less wrinkles brought on by stress.

Furthermore, you should always "count your blessings." Other people are in worst shape than you are. If you have your health, you are ahead of the game.

Four years ago, I was in the deepest bleak of depression, because of a divorce. Until, I woke up and realize the consequences on my mental health. It's good to strive for perfection and high expectations. Just don't make them too unrealistic. Or you're bound to be disappointed. Remember, that your greatest enemy can be yourself.

If I wasn't worng, you have been not appreciated and your limits were broken by people surrounding you. you feel guilt and shame yourself, and you dislike that you can be better at social life, at the same time you have insecurity that if people sense you feeling of law self-image, they will mistreat you or will hurt you , or will not appreciate you an dvalue as the firts time you execpected and they expected, and you can sense these feelings, it is called inter-personal communcation skills.
work on taking a step forward, coming out of your comfort zone is a good thing that teach you to build a new confort zone and will mature you and will grow in you more armies(boundaries and strong limits), take care.

my motto is "expect the best but prepare for the worst." so you can have your expectations, however high or low they may be, just know that there is always a possibility you won't get what you expect.
