Having listened to a lot of different radio stations it seems to me that no matter where a caller is from, the DJ has always been there and knows all about the town in question. Do they just travel a lot and know a lot or are they full of S**T and just trying to sound good on air? What do you think?

I think the DJ always has to have the upper hand , and keep the "caller" in their place, often to the point of ridicule. It's cheap laughs, don't call in!!!!!!!

It is because they have spent so many years working in tiny little radio outposts that they have worked almost everywhere!

British radio is of such high quality that the alan partridge 'sound a likes' that we are used to have, actually had to endure considerable pain to cause us a similar degree of pain.

They know what we know!

yes they are full of sh*t. it makes the caller more involved if the dj pretends to have a clue where they are.

Pirate stations, they have to check where they won't be caught so they keep moving to start another one which makes them travel a lot. ( like ice cream vans).
