Would you fight back and call for insurgents and try to kill the invaders?
Isn't it all a matter of perspective?

I definitely wouldn't like it. THAT'S why I support a very intelligent and effective military industry and a wonderful set of military officers and planners in our military and Pentagon, and a fantastic and intelligent Commander-in-Chief who never ran over to our enemies (U.S.S.R.) and told them how great they are and bad we were and then come back and run for President. Thank GOD for George W. Bush and our military, of which my son was one, and has been in Iraq TWICE so we can have the freedom to mouth off over here. God Bless you.

Good point, they all look like terrorists carrying guns etc, but if we were invaded just about everyone in the US would whip out their guns and become insurgents.

Although we don't commit physical terrorism, its more like like mental abuse. We always threaten andshow everyone how well we live etc.

I'm not condemning the war, or our troops, I am a proud American. But we have to stick with good and bad decisions made by our govt until we figure out a way to make it better. Just like our real lives.

This would be suicide for any invading army. Assuming they made it past OUR military they wouldn't get past the citizens. The average Joe out there is very patriotic and gun owner. So an invading army would have to get past 300 million armed citizens. Not likely!

Where are you getting your news stories? From CNN? Its a lot more complicated than your putting out. You have Muslim clergy using their people by telling things that are not in the Koran to get them to martyr themselves. Like they will have 14 virgin girls in Paradise waiting for you. What they are being told is not in the Koran. There are also former army's of Saddam hidden in amongst the people, causing trouble. If they could get us out they could replace Saddam with a Saddam of their own. Iran and Syria are contributing bombs and arms because our defeat would embolden our enemies. Don't forget that all the worlds intelligent agencies thought Saddam had WMDs and all the major Democrats too. Hillary, Kerry, etc.

I'm sure I would fight back....and I can see your point. And on that point, the fact is that our borders at home are STILL unsecured.....so we just may have some problems in the future. If a family of five Mexicans can just walk over our border, then I'm very sure a well financed terrorist group could also.

I'd feel great! I'd be drafted into the military and try and go all Rambo on this "larger militaries" @ss. Then i'd find out war isn't a game, nor the same as they show it on TV and i'd die whilst being comforted my an African-American soldier named Joe... even though i'm not American!

Your point is correct, some Americans think we are the only ones who can be patriots.
It does not mean the toppling of Saddam was wrong, only the foolish Democracy building part was wrong.
We should have left after killing Saddam in his spider hole!
