Dre, easily.
First of all, he made Snoop, and in return Snoop sold out and started making crappy music for even crappier labels. What bum a** label is he on now, no talent records or some nonsense like that!
Second, Dre was part of NWA, one of the all time greatest influences in rap music when it was good.
Dre is a legend, Snoop is a phony that would be selling AVON or something like that if Dre didn't give him a chance and promote him like he did. Dre even makes the people around him better, no one knows this better than Snoop, who hasn't dropped a decent song in about 8 years, right about the time he wandered away from Dre and tried doing his own thing.

DR DRE!!!!!!!!!!!! how are people going to pick Snoop over Dre???!!! They must not know who Dre is!!!!! Without Dre, there would be no Snoop!!! Dre created Snoop!! and Dre is the BEST beat maker in the world!! Without Dre rap, would be different, there would probibaly be no Eminem, and with no Eminem there would probiballly be no D12, probblally be no 50 Cent, and no G-Unit, and yes certainly no Snoop Dogg!! Dr Dre is one of the best out there!

Considering both are equally pioneering rap legends with exceptional amounts of talent, and completely different sounds/styles, it's not a question of who is better. The question should really be "Which rapper do you like better, Snoop or Dre?"

I'd say Snoop Dogg but I actually think they are about the same in rap ability. Snoop just has a better personality.

I thought Dre retired from rapping. I have not seen him in a while. But Snoop definitely has that spark. I don't know, but whatever he does sells!

depends on what you like Snoop is more hardcore but I think Dre is a smoother rapper
