You can get the cheapest hotel but you won't get a good bed and the swimming pools may not be clean at all. I would suggest for you to get an all inclusive pkg in a hotel like Blue Bay Getaway. I went there last year on Aug and I couldn't choose a better hotel than this one. I don't know about hostels, i've never been to one...anyway good luck & have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course they are....There are TWO hostels near thte Parque de las Palapas (the central park).

the cheapist will be in downtown.they wont be as safe as in the hotel zone but will be as safe as in america.try the holiday express or the other holiday inn there
